A work-time register is a legal obligation for every employer under Hungarian labor law (Mt. 134. §), yet in most places it is a spreadsheet reconstructed from memory at month end. In ShiftAssist it is not a separate task: the register builds continuously from the published schedule and, if you want, from recorded attendance.
The base of the register is the published schedule: daily entries are generated from it automatically. Turn on phone clock-in and the entries are refined by actual attendance, but clocking in is an option, not a requirement.

While the month is open, everything can still be corrected, and if you want, you can send it to your employees for confirmation: each person approves their own monthly hours. Closing the month locks the period: it can no longer be modified from the schedule or from attendance. In an audit, that is the basis of credibility; the fact and time of the close are recorded in the audit log.

One click produces a printable, Hungarian-language PDF of the month, per employee, day by day. Payroll gets the same in Excel, with collision-proof identifiers: two employees with the same name can never merge into one row.

Phone clock-in is a company-level switch, and it is off by default. Switched on, clock-ins are tied to the site, and the system flags a punch made from outside the site radius. Without clock-in, the register builds from the working time of the published schedule.
